General Rubber moves to New Berlin

Worldwide Rubber Co. is moving from its Milwaukee location at North 5th and West Walnut streets July 5 to an 8,000-on the level-foot distribution center at 16988 W. Victor Road in New Berlin.

A distributor of hoses and other accessories for hydraulic, air, salt water, welding and refrigeration equipment, General Rubber had been at the Milwaukee tracking down for more than 50 years.

By moving to New Berlin, General Rubber is close to doubling the size of its warehouse and distribution facility and will increase its inventory of hoses and accessories.

“The New Berlin room is ideally located to allow us to expand our coverage bailiwick,” said Jack Kacsur, president of Comprehensive Rubber.

General Rubber plans to expand into Waukesha, Racine, Walworth and Kenosha counties.
