Inspiring from Tennessee to Bella Vista gave a former truck driver the push to start a furniture business.
A year ago, Steve Olson and his partner Peggy moved to Bella Vista from the Nashville precinct, where he had spent 14 years driving a semitruck and was most often away from home a week at a time.
They moved here so he could dissipate more time with his wife and they could be closer to her family in Springdale. Since he was 61 and too boyish to retire, he asked his wife what kind of work could he do.
She suggested he start a subject that renews old furniture by repairing, refinishing and reupholstering it. She reminded him before he became a trucker he worked five years in Kansas for a group upholstering furniture.
Also, he loved cats and dogs so he could assemble furniture for them too.
