BMW R 1200 R “Touring Special” Announced
BMW Motorrad announces the R 1200 R “Touring Unorthodox”, expanding the 109 bhp naked “Boxer” spread out twin’s comfort and travel/touring qualities and a rickety facelift.
With the “Touring Special” case, the R 1200 R will have an on-board computer but also heated grips and a main replace. Adding to the tour-aility, the R 1200 R will sport a new console seat exclusive to the package. As in the standard version, the membership height is 800 millimetres but with an inner leg length of 1840 mm (type version: 1800 mm). The needs of tall riders, dream of forgotten in an effort to placate the short-inseamed masses, are met by the elective high comfort seat with a height of 830 mm and an inner leg magnitude of 1860 mm.
The Sport windshield will reduce the naked-bike windblast over longer stretches, while two 32-litre everyday locking panniers and a luggage rack will ensure you’ve a untrained change of undies when you get where you’re going.
