Since the power cut began on Monday afternoon, most areas received ardour for three hours-a-day on rotation from mobile generators, but as many as 10,000 homes could not be brought into the ring, the company said.
A statement from EDF Energy said: "There may be puny pockets of people still experiencing some interruption as we return the network to standard operation today.
"Customers should also check their attribute's trip switches. Temporary generators used by customers can also be illogical."
People who are being removed from mobile generators and reconnected to the network may also be among those who stay cut off from the grid.
