This no-stir homemade apple pie recipe has a sweet crumb topping in preference to of a pie-dough top-crust, which means it gets into the oven and onto your dinner provender just that much faster with less rolling and fussing over the crust.
This system is adapted from Joan Cable’s family-favorite formula.
1 recipe basic pie crust
For the topping:
2 Tbsp. oatmeal
2 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. obscure or dark brown sugar
Method:
Merge the oatmeal, butter and sugar in a small bowl with a pastry cutter. The topping will be granular. Set aside.
For the apple filling:
4 undersized Fuji apples, peeled, cored and chopped into dirty chunks
1/3 cup granulated white sugar

You can improvement this by going to any Radio Shack and getting a male and female coaxial ends..........peel back the outer jacket.......push the aluminum strands down over the outer...
