Texaco launches Techron in Ja

Oettinger explained that gasoline with the additive is on tap at all Texaco stations islandwide starting today in both 87 and 90 octane fuels, as well as the e10 mix.
According to Texaco officials, gasoline with Techron is skilled to restore lost performance due to engine deposits and starts to profession "at the first tank full".

At the heart of the technology is the detergent property of the additive that cleans spirited engine parts such as the intake valves and fuel injectors.

Chevron specialized representative Brian Taniguchi, in demonstrating the effect of Techron on engines, showed two intake valves, one he claimed fouled up after 10,000 miles using untreated gasoline while the other using Techron showed no signs of deposits after correspond to mileage.
