MOUNT HOLLY, NC (WBTV) - Gaston County residents are on guard after a eminently black bear was spotted near a busy intersection in Mount Holly Tuesday dusk.
A man spotted the bear near the intersection of Crest and Primary Streets which is less than two blocks from the McDonald's restaurant and a shopping center. A Mount Holly guard officer who saw the bear estimated it to be between 300 and 350 pounds.
