Nissan admits the Cube's nose was designed to look like a bulldog with sunglasses, planted on a lengthy 99.6-inch wheelbase with wheels at each corner and slightest overhang. The goggle-eyed grille hangs over a chin-like lessen air intake with fog lights, while rounded flares decorate rounded off-edged square fenders, framing four-spoke alloys with 16-inch Toyo radials. The flanks may look categorical, but there's a gentle bulge mid-door, while the side windows were called "portholes" due to their rounded squareness. The windshield is rather upright, the mostly flat roof heading aft to the oddest part - an asymmetrical wraparound fix side/rear window, while the driver's side gets a regular D-backbone.

Taller yet shorter nose to tail than the xB or Soul, reply this boxy compact got was off the scale. One neighbor said it looked like the paltry circus car that "the clowns get out of," while his wife called it "ugly." My son called it the "coolest car ever," while one woman said it "looked like something from outer space," adding she liked its look and roominess.
