Inventor Wins Award For In-Wheel Hybrid Retrofit Kit

I am skeptical.

Scarcely retrofitting a car’s hubs with electric motors is not common to give you seamless operation– You will most likely have to manually strike operating modes (put the transmission into neutral to disengage the gasoline locomotive from the drivetrain so the electric motor wheel hubs can employment).

This is clunky compared to the Prius, which transitions between gasoline power, charged power, or a combination of both seamlessly. And the Prius can shut off the gasoline machine whenever it is not needed, even if the car is still moving.

That electric motor wheel hub retrofit kit doesn’t firm like something intended for the general public. Somehow I don’t see soccer moms using that system in their relations haulers if they have to manually control which drive system to use at any given interval.

Are LED headlights legal in the UK, and are Xenon bulbs designed to retrofit without a conversion kit?

Rocky Representing the T5 Retrofit Kit I would like to certain if LED-equivalent bulbs that are readily available online are legal to fit as headlights in a UK car.
