Pine Belt to offer commodities Wednesday

Bastrop, La. -

The non-profit organism that aids low-income residents will be distributing commodities on Wednesday, July 22.

Pine Belt Multi-Resolution Agency, Inc. aids needy residents with food and portions of their slit and utilities. There are rules for acceptance and participation. No one is treated differently in regards to their blood, national origin, age, sex or handicap.

“Pine Belt helps people in difficulty in all kinds of situations,” said Program Coordinator Elowise Rabon. “We do a fan disposition the summer as well as a blanket distribution in the fall. We also assist in medical bills and the purchasing of children’s inculcate uniforms.”

For those that participate in this, they should have a form of picture identification and a double of their 2009 proof of household income that the distributor can keep.
