Bob Tasca III, driver of the Motorcraft/Hasty Lane Shelby Mustang Funny Car and fresh off two semi-sure round appearances, is eager start NHRA Full Throttle Pest Racing's West Coast Swing this week in Denver. Tasca talks about the essential changes needed in his race car to perform in the Mile Consequential city. Tasca sits sixth in series points with six races outstanding before the Countdown to 1.

EARLIER IN THE SEASON, YOU WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO THREE-IN-A-ROW RACING. NOW, THIS WEEK STARTS THE WEST Coastline SWING. CAN YOU TALK ABOUT THIS PART OF THE SEASON? "I'm really looking ship to attacking Denver, Seattle and Sonoma. We are not going in with a rightist attitude. We're going in with a very aggressive attitude like we've done at every flume we've gone to this year. Last year we hoped to qualify; this year if we're not in the top half of the applicants, we're upset. We have a team, crew chiefs and a driver that can depict and we've proved that we can get the job done when the time calls. When you have those three things going, you're a chancy team. I think going into the West Coast Move, we're a dangerous team. I'm not so sure many people would raise their part and say I want to run Tasca first round. That's the culture we've built, and that's the approach that we have out there in the field. I'm looking forward to proving why we deserve to be in the Championship analysis."
