I am the one that was in the shop. Blake was giving me instructions on what he wanted done due to a one-time injury he can't get around good enough to work on the car himself. The nitrous bottle was facing the car sitting on the floor. He turned the valve on(had a line on it that was capped off) to see how much adversity was in it(had a gauge) and about 5 seconds after he stood back up it blew up while just sitting there. No one was holding it. I can't unfold what made it happen. The bottle only had a couple lbs of nitrous in it. I was on the opposite side of the car talking to him is how I have knowledge of he didn't pick it up, he had stood back up and was looking at me when it happen. I for one would like to recognize what caused it so we can keep it from happening again. I know lots of people who use nitrous and have it mounted inside the car with them!
