Power Steering Pump Bracket
Easy Cooler Mount
I had some problems competition my old power steering setup and decided to start over completely. A cooler may be overkill for the again tracked street car but I didn't want to take any chances. Plastic boiling caused the pump to seize and let go half way through a Laguna Seca trackday, those are dear! I wanted the cooler and all of the plumbing to be low profile so I ran probably 10 feet of file from the pump to the cooler. This alone helps to cool the fluid because of the increased skin area and fluid level.
I didn't want the cooler to interpose with the radiator or anything else so I made a really simple bracket that attached it to the radiator buttress infront of the radiator. It's a piece of 1X1/8-inch aluminum selection that I cut to length and bolted up. I shot it with

What power steering pump bracket will interchange with a 1968-1972 350 oldsmobile engine?
I bought a 1968-1972 350 oldsmobile motor. It has no power steering pump brackets. I can't find any anywhere no junk yards autoparts stores....
So did this point have power steering originally? If everything has been disconnected, there's probably some nasty crap in the steering actuator. You should deluge it.
