Meccanoplastica launches enlarged IBM machine

Italian tornado molding machine maker Meccanoplastica has launched a higher faculty version of its all-electric Jet 55 injection blow moulding ring.

The original Jet 55 machine was launched in Chicago at the 2006 NPE peaches. Meccanoplastic technical director Rolando Fantini said the business now has 15 of the machines in operation in Europe and the US and remains the only industrialist with a commercially available all-electric IBM machine option.

The new Jet 55L gismo features an enlarged tiebar arrangement around the same mechanicals – 50 metric ton injection molding and 5 metric ton embroider molding clamp - allowing it to accommodate larger moulds.
