Granddad wants advice on placing child seats

UESTION: I always appreciate and think about your articles. In the April 16 Better Driver article (Staying proper with baby on board), you recommend "the safest location is the meet of the rear seat. ..."

In Solomon-esque fashion, would you avoid solve this problem: with two children, a 31/2-year-old in a baby's seat and a baby in a baby's seat bucket, who gets the concentrate seat? Why?

Being a granddad, I'd like to impress my daughter and suppress (due to have their second child next month) with "my" insightful wisdom.
