Window howler puts a dampener on car

DRIVER Amanda Duffy was looking flippant to her new car.
But she didn’t reckon she would still be complaining more than a year after buying the VW Polo from Benfield Motors.
Amanda told me how the means has been back to the dealer on several occasions.
She said: “The car has been into the garage five times to fix the window seals as they were letting in not wash lavishly.
“Numerous water tests have been carried out but all to no avail, as they could not find any freely leaking into the car.
“Then it happened again when the car went in for a service.”
Amanda, of Kingston Deposit, Newcastle, said she had heard of other instances of water ingress on VWs.
